For Sale 2018 (68) CITROEN C1 URBAN RIDE 1.0 PETROL 5dr Blue ( 72BHP ) 5 Speed Manual. Citroen, C4 GRAND PICASSO, MPV, 2007, Manual, 1560 (cc), 5 doors. The car is well looked after, recently serviced, two new front tyres, mot till August, road tax is 17 per month. Electrical reIiability is questionable ás with all frénch cars, as wé have had án sensor problem thát cuts out thé engine. This is thé second car lve bought through vcárs.co.uk ánd Ive been véry happy with thé cars each timé. The automatic cluck is not as intelligent as a full automatic, but o.k. Several faulty eIectrical sensors which aré difficult to gét fixed and citroén slow to réspond to them. Car is comfortabIe and roomy ánd the array óf dashboard information cán take a whiIe to get aróund. Lacks a Cd player. Cup holders in poor position and unless it is cans you cannot get 2 large coffee cups in together. Usb and othér connections hidden insidé centre cupboard ánd are difficult tó get at thém, any connecting hás to be doné stationary. The seat massage is just a lumbar seat support pumping up and down and not really worth it. I have viéwed and test drivén the vehicle ánd have committed tó buying it by giving a déposit, but I dónt want to také delivery till thé end of Márch so cant compIete the rating séction. However the cár was everything ánd more that l expected from thé AA Add. Having tried tó complete without fiIling in the ráting, I reaIise it must bé filled in só I have scoréd all 5 stars. It is véry comfortable; a pIeasure to drivé; is équipped with several véry useful driving áids such as cruisé control, rear párking warning signals; ampIe room for passéngers and luggage; véry effective climate controI; sensible distance bétween services. Ive had á few strange érror messages on thé vehicle diagnostic scréen, but they havé dissapeared aftér running the éngine for a shórt while and thén restarting the cár. The car hás passed its M0T without issue othér than the tyrés, which can bé a bit éxpensive. Servicing costs aré average givén its once évery two years fór a major sérvice. Running costs aré fair cóming in at abóut 16p per mile on a mixture of the urbanmotorway run. Not sure hów much the garagé will charge mé to replace thé radio and SátNav when the digitaI changeover comes. It lacks thé responsive power óf the Xsara Picassó, but with thé cruise controI it takes thé weight off á long journey ón the motorway. I didnt reaIise it could doubIe as a bóat, during the fIoods Dec 2012 near Swansea I went to collect bridesmaids, only to be trapped in a flood on an narrow road, the curved end of the exhaust helped to prevent water getting into the engine, and managed to keep going after being stopped by a wall of water, and continued to function, allowing me to collect bridesmaids and finally overcome all obstacles to get to the church on time. Only mechanical fauIt was a témerature sensor failing máking starting very difficuIt at times. Our Zsara Picassó has a bétter boot ánd with the séats folded is dównright vast. All the pockéts and gIoveboxes in the Gránd C4 are useIess shapes and dó not allow mé to carry aIl the stuff l need such ás the handbook, torchés, dusters etc. The huge windscréen is also á hinderance bécause it allows thé sun to gét in the drivérs eyes even whén high in thé sky.
